Climbed by Denis Veretenin, Eugeny Bashkirtsev

Russian climbers Denis Veretenin and Eugeny Bashkirtsev climbed a new route on the east face of Uli Biaho Tower, in Pakistan's Karakoram mountains, in August 2013.

They spent 7 days on the route, including 3 days of bad weather.

The east face of Uli Biaho Tower is about 1000m high. The first ascent of the peak by Bill Forest, Ron Kauk, John Roskelley, Kim Schmitz in 1974 was via a line on this face.

No further details are available about the Russian ascent.

This ascent is mentioned on the English-language version of the Russian Climb website but, rather oddly, it seems not to be included in the Russian version!
