Stegosaurus - South Ridge - 2011

Five American climbers have made the first ascent of a 6600m metre peak dubbed "Stegosaurus" in the eastern Karakoram, India.

Other members of the expedition: Chewang Motup, Konchok Thinles, Pemba Norbu Sherpa, Dhan Singh Harkotia, Jamgla Tashi Phunchok, Tshering Sherpa

Bergman, Drinkwater, Kremer, Richey and Wilkinson made the first ascent of an unnamed peak west of Saser Kangri II. They descibe the peak as "dinosauresque" and dubbed it "Stegosaurus."

The ascent was made in the course of the Indo-American Saser Kangri II Expedition.
