Pumo Kangri - northwest Face - 2011

Emilie Drinkwater and Kirsten Kremer climbed an unnamed snow peak of 6250 above the South Shukpa Kungchang Glacier in the eastern Karakoram, India. They have proposed the name Pumo Kangri for the peak.

Emilie Drinkwater and Kirsten Kremer climbed an unnamed snow peak of 6250 above the South Shukpa Kungchang Glacier on 5/6 August 2012. They climbed unroped for all but the final pitches and rappelled through the night with a single rope.

They have proposed the name Pumo Kangri for the peak.

The ascent was carried out in the course of an Indo-American expedition that culminated in the ascent of Saser Kangri II.
