The summit of Phawararang in the Tirung Valley, Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh was reached on 31 by Vijay Hegde, form Mumbai, and his climbing partner Keshi.

Phawararang was first climbed by an Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP) team in 1978.
